Malt Shop Memories

In August, 2009 we had premiered Malt Shop Memories to a sold out crowd at the Waukesha Civic Theatre, located in historic Waukesha, Wisconsin. Originally conceived as being slated for two performances we had quickly noticed that we needed to add shows due to the popularity the production was receiving from the community. A third production time was added and we ended up turning many people away from seeing the production in general due to its' hightened success.

In Malt Shop Memories we urge the audience to break out those poodle skirts and school sweaters because Malt Shop Memories brings the 50's and 60's back to life! You will get swept away in the politics, fads, style, movies, and of course, music of a time that helped define an era and shape our country into what is is today.

Faeturing your favorite 50's and 60's music classics by Bobby Darin, Jay and the Americans, the Chiffons, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Connie Francis, Shelly Fabares, Elvis Presley, the Dixie Cups, the Big Bopper, and many more; this is one show that will get you dancing in your seat and singing along throughout the night!

Are the rumors true? Is there an ALL NEW SHOW in the works?

We have been asked this question ever since opening night of Malt Shop Memories in August, 2009. After meeting with the Waukesha Civic Theatre recently I am pleased to say that we will be presenting another musical review of the 1950's and 60's in August, 2010 for two weeks.

The show is structured rather similarly to Malt Shop Memories and features many of the same characters and actors, who excitingly joined on as soon as the talk of another show being written was presented to them. In addition to many of the previous cast members from Waukesha Civic Theatre's production the new show also brings fresh new faces to the Malt Shop.

Featuring all new songs, scenes, characters, stories and "memories" from the original production; Malt Shop Memories 2: Shake, Rattle And Roll is like Malt Shop Memories on Vitameatavegamin!
